Office Policies

Location:
We are located near Four Mile Fork in the Fredericksburg VA area, in the medical building complex at 4107 Lafayette Boulevard, Suite 3. The office is wheelchair accessible; please inform us of any other special accommodations required. Click here for directions.

Hours:
Weekdays, evenings and Saturdays available. By appointment only.

Payment:
We accept cash, checks and credit cards. Discounts and sliding scale are available.

Insurance:
We are currently a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and Anthem BCBS. Contracts are pending for our office to be able to accept other insurance plans.

If you carry other insurance, we will gladly provide the necessary documentation so that you may seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Patient are typically reimbursed quickly.

Skype sessions:
Skype sessions may or may not be reimbursed - this is new to insurance companies, although Virginia is one of several states which passed a bill permitting third-party billing for teletherapy. Skype is not currently available for evaluations, and teletherapy (as with any speech therapy session) can only be performed if the therapist is licensed in the state where the client is receiving treatment. Skype consultations and general voice sessions/lessons are available worldwide.

We are happy to help you determine your best treatment options, even if that involves referring you to another specialist who can better suit your needs.
